Who we are
RobinWay is a navigation planning app for caregivers, operated from Arizona, United States. You can reach us about anything in this policy at support@robinway.app.
What we collect on this website
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and, if you check the box, your interest in early testing. We use them for exactly two things: telling you when RobinWay is ready, and (if you asked) inviting you to test early builds. Our website host also keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) to run and secure the site, and we count page visits with Vercel’s cookieless analytics: aggregate numbers only, no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no profile of you. We use no advertising trackers.
What the app keeps on your phone
Your watch list, your pinned places, your saved places and trips, and your drive history live on your phone, protected by your phone’s built-in encryption. They are not uploaded to us, and there is no RobinWay account or profile behind them. Deleting them in the app, or deleting the app, deletes them.
What our servers see during a scan
When you check a drive, the app sends our server the starting point, the destination, and the watch rules needed for that scan. The server checks the routes, returns the result, and moves on. We do not build a record of your routes, destinations, or movements, and we keep precise coordinates out of our logs. Live location during a drive is processed on your phone for turn-by-turn navigation and is never stored by us.
What we never collect
Anything about your child as a person. The app has no field for a name, an age, or a diagnosis, and this policy is the commitment that it stays that way. We also never sell personal information, never share it for marketing, and never use the contents of your watch list for advertising.
Service providers
A small number of companies process data on our behalf, and only to run the service: Vercel hosts this website, Resend stores the waitlist emails and sends our messages, Hetzner hosts the scan server, Google processes road-facing imagery of public places during scans (imagery of streets, never of you), and Apple distributes the app and will handle payments if we sell subscriptions. Apple never shares your payment details with us. Each provider receives only what its job requires.
How long data lives
Scan requests are processed and let go, not archived. Waitlist emails are kept until we have told you the one thing you signed up to hear, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Everything the app stores lives on your phone and lasts exactly as long as you keep it.
Your choices and rights
You can leave the waitlist, ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it by writing to support@robinway.app. Depending on where you live, the law may give you additional rights over your personal information, and we honor requests in the same spirit regardless of where you live. For everything the app keeps on your phone, deletion is in your hands directly.
Children
RobinWay is a tool for adults. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The whole design collects nothing about the child a caregiver plans around.
Security
Data moving between your phone, this website, and our servers is encrypted in transit. Data the app keeps is protected by your phone’s encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but collecting less is our first line of defense: what we never hold can never leak.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. We will not quietly weaken it; a change that reduces your privacy would be called out plainly, not buried.
